Why enter the British International School Awards?
Thursday 25 August 2016
The British International School Awards celebrate innovation in strategic, financial and educational projects in qualifying schools. This particular sector is nothing if not innovative… so why not showcase your school’s achievements?
Organised by British International Schools magazine with the support of ISC Research, the awards will help to set benchmarks in the fastest growing part of the education sector. Any school that makes the shortlist will be able to use that to market to potential parents to demonstrate their exceptional quality.
Every sector benefits from awards – overdue recognition of great work that has gone on without widespread appreciation. While few British international school leaders do what they do for the attentions of the spotlight, what they achieve can be beneficial to their school by demonstrating to current and potential parents that the school is being run well with the benefit of the pupils to the foremost.
Entry to the awards is free. The deadline is midnight, 21 September 2016.
The categories are:
- Strategic Initiative of the Year

The awards will celebrate achievements in this sector and whose results have borne fruit during the past academic year. They are open to all British international schools, which we define as those schools that follow all or part of the English national curriculum and have a “British character” in the school.
All entries must be made online, with submissions containing robust information; including relevant facts and figures or testimonials where possible. The judging panel is chaired by Professor Jeff Thompson CBE.
The awards presentation will take place at the Grand Connaught Rooms, Covent Garden, London on 23 January 2017.
